How to proof your yeast

 

Remember if your yeast do not proof the yeast before adding to the flour mixture your bread will not rise.

1) 1/3 cup of warm water (proper temperature)
2) Add one packet of yeast and give it a very slight stir.
3) Let it sit for 5 minutes then add to your flour mixture.


Using a 1/3 measuring cup, fill with warm water it should feel Luke warm or if you have a food thermometer make sure the water temperature is between 105  and 110 degrees Fahrenheit
